3 of the Rarest Muscle Cars Produced

Finding your dream muscle car can be a challenging task to take on by yourself, but if you are searching for any of these models, you may find yourself out of luck. In this blog we are going to list 3 of the rarest muscles cars ever produced!
Remember, if you are looking for a vintage ride to call your own, our team can help you with our muscle car locator! Granted, we can't make any guarantees about the vehicles listed below!
#1: Chevrolet Corvette ZL-1
The first pick on our list is the 1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL-1! When this ride debuted it was listed at roughly $10,050! This ride came with a big block engine and packed more horsepower than any other Corvette at the time of its production. (560-585 HP!) The goal of this Corvette was to help with dominating the Canadian-American racing circuit. Only 3 units were ever produced.

#2: Shelby Cobra Super Snake
The Shelby Cobra Super Snake only had 2 units ever to be produced. One of which was kept by the creator, Caroll Shelby. The goal was to make this muscle car legal on the road, while not sacrificing the racing-like specs. This was done by adding a windshield, bumpers, and mufflers to the original design. As you can imagine, this ride was an absolute beast. You could hit 60 mph within a 3-second time frame, and get upwards of 200mph.
The 2nd unit of this vehicle was actually gifted to Bill Cosby; however, it was returned when the ride proved to be too much for him. It is speculated that when the ride was sold to another buyer, they lost control and drove it off into the Pacific Ocean, making this ride one of the rarest in the world.

#3: Dodge Coronet r/t 426 Hemi Convertible
The last pick on our list is the Dodge Coronet r/t 426 Hemi Convertible. The listed price was for $5,000. Now, to clarify, this ride was produced in 1970; however, only two r/t convertible models were ever produced, making it one of the rarest muscle cars to ever exist.
This list just covers a fraction of what rare muscle cars are out there. At Farm Boy Garage, our muscle car finder service is a solid way for you to find the classic car of your dream; although, don't get your hopes up on any of these models.
