Come Out Saturday for the Last Day of the 2018 IMCA Super Nationals!
This week, Farm Boy Garage has been busy with the 2018 IMCA Super Nationals in Boone, Iowa. We're camping out all week long and we're super stoked to be a sponsor for Brandon Dale this year! Here's a little information about the Super Nationals, as well as the Northern SportMod Brandon's tearing up some track with this week.
A Little Info on the Super Nationals
“Super Nationals is the biggest event in the world for the weekly dirt track racer so the local track theme is something that allows racers to bring a piece of home with them,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Racers are proud of their local IMCA sanctioned dirt track and we want them to highlight that. This is also a contest with a lot of latitude. Designs can and should be unique but drivers and graphics designers have to remember that required decals must be incorporated,” he added. “There are a lot of extremely imaginative people in this field and I look forward to seeing what they come up with.”
Top drivers at the Super Nationals will fill starting fields for the 30th annual Harris Auto Racing Modified Race of Champions, the 18th annual Sunoco Stock Car Race of Champions, and 10th annual Stephenville Starter Hobby Stock Race of Champions and BSB Manufacturing Northern SportMod Race of Champions.
IMCA Northern SportMod Body Dimensions For 2018
The dimension requirements for the Northern SportMod cars is pretty strict, and leaves very little room for error. From the safety equipment, to the frame, roll cage, driver compartment and so much more, the specifications for these race cars is intensely inspected upon entry of the race. Anything outside of the approved regulations can disqualify the car. That's where our attention to even the smallest detail comes in handy. We, at Farm Boy Garage, pay attention to even the smallest of details to ensure these SportMods are track ready and qualifiable.
